Investigation continues into 2 vehicle crash near Minnedosa

An investigation into the cause of an accident near Minnedosa continues today. Constable David Portelance, the Media Relations officer for the RCMP said two vehicles, a Dodge Sprinter passenger van and a Toyota Prius, were involved in the collision on Monday afternoon a few kilometres east of the community.
Witnesses on the scene confirmed the van suffered moderate damage on the passenger side, while the Prius had severe damage on the front passenger side.
Portelance noted that there were eight people involved in the accident, six in the van and two in the car. All eight were transported to hospital, some for observation and others with minor injuries. He also stated that as of Wednesday afternoon, no formal charges had been filed and the investigation into the cause of the crash was ongoing.
