Not what Ford intended

Ken Kilmury moved to Rivers in June 2013 and that move included his truck. While Ford decaled the back fenders as a 4x4 off-road vehicle, they likely didn鈥檛 mean for the 52-year-old to drive it into Lake Wahtopanah on Tuesday evening, May 19. The vehicle was located by a diver, who connected the winch cable before it was pulled out by ABC Auto Service & Towing.

Ken鈥檚 copper bracelet caught on the gear shift as he was exiting the running truck. He stumbled and struggled alongside his vehicle and barely escaped being run over by the dual tires before the truck drove itself to the bottom of the lake off Saulteaux Lane at Chimo Resort. Submerged for more than 24 hours, Autopac has written it off.
