With the opening of 4U 水果视频 Decor and Consulting, Neepawa shoppers have a new source for furniture and home decor.

Located at 287 Hamilton St., in the former offices of Kinley Thomson Chartered Accountants, the store features antiques, one-of-a-kind pieces, decor and seasonal gifts.

While the store may be new, this has been a long-time hobby for owner Darryn Cameron. The store opened on Nov. 12 and Cameron said that so far, there鈥檚 been lots of positive feedback. In addition to sales, he said he鈥檚 also received orders for custom work, such as refinishing or painting.

The store includes a mix of antiques, used furniture as well as many up-cycled pieces.  Cameron explains that in up-cycling furniture, he takes an existing piece and reinvents it as something else, for example, barn board coat hooks or a laundry rack turned into a coffee table. Set up with distinct rooms, Cameron explains that he has tried to merchandise the store in a way that鈥檚 appealing to shoppers.

With Christmas coming up, 4U also has a selection of antique ornaments, most of them new and still in the box, as well as a wide selection of gift baskets tailored to the recipient.

In addition to the store, Cameron is hoping to expand the custom order and design consulting side of his business.

Until Christmas, 4U will be open Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
