Storytime in the library has been a lot of fun again this fall, with many books being read by our volunteers and fun crafts created by the little ones who came out.
This season of Storytime wraps up on Nov. 27 at 11:00 am. Many thanks go to Wendy and the Rotary volunteers who come to the library every week and make the stories come alive. Storytime starts again in the new year on Jan. 15.
Have you heard of book spine poetry? It鈥檚 had a bit of attention recently thanks to a friendly rivalry in social media between Toronto Public Library and Kansas City Public Library during the major league baseball playoffs. This innovative method of creating poetry consists of stacking books so the words in the titles read as a phrase or a poem.

We鈥檝e also had a bit of fun with it here in the Neepawa Library and have posted photos of seasonal greetings on the library Facebook page, which can be found under 鈥淲estern 水果视频 Regional Library鈥. We invite anyone who wants to give it a try to come to the library and stack a few books and take a photo for posting. It鈥檚 challenging and fun!
Keep in mind our upcoming book sale on Dec. 3 and 4 in the back room at the library. We have adult and children鈥檚 books as well as some games and other items that are all looking for new homes. Now鈥檚 the time to gather up some extra reading material for those cold winter nights that are sure to come. We are still accepting donations of gently used books.
鈥淭here are many little ways to enlarge your child鈥檚 world. Love of books is the best of all.鈥 鈥揓acqueline Kennedy Onassis
