A Halloween tradition was maintained this year when Rivers Collegiate students participated in the annual We Scare Hunger event.
Pictured above in random order are those who knocked on doors in Rivers and gathered 992 pounds of non-perishables for Riverdale Harvest. Educational assistant Jaimee Waldner helped co-ordinate the campaign for Kaysi Dziver, Jordan Vander Velde, Brianna Sucharyna, Alex Heath, Shayna Wier, Julie Grant, Hayee Anderson, Katherine Heapy, Trevor Johnston, MaKenna Paddock, Beau Bridgeman, Holden Phillips, Connor English and Darren Fredrick.
Harvest鈥檚 past-chairman Liliane Dupuis wrote a note to the school which reads, 鈥淢any, many thanks for all the wonderful work you did again for the foodbank. It is awesome!鈥�
