On Thursday, Nov. 18, six local businesses hosted A Winter鈥檚 Eve in Neepawa.

The stores showed off their new Christmas stock, had special deals and held contests. Ken Dalgliesh had his horses and wagon available to transport customers from one store to the next (above). Kerreen鈥檚 Clothing, Beyond the Garden Gate, It鈥檚 Time Fashion and Gifts, Venus Hair and Body Care, Herbs for Health and Brews Brothers Bistro were the stores involved. Ineke Mack, owner of It鈥檚 Time and event organizer, said, 鈥淭he response was awesome... The first cold blustery day of the season seemed to add to the atmosphere instead of hampering it.鈥 The event was meant to showcase Neepawa鈥檚 small town hospitality and give local businesses an opportunity to show customers what they have to offer.
