Happy New Year! All of us at Neepawa Library are looking forward to another year full of books - classics, old favourites and shiny new titles. We have new books coming in all the time and patrons can request the new releases as soon as they are available.

Our programming continues for all ages of readers as well. The adult book club continues to meet on the last Thursday of most months and our pre-teen Pen-pal Club is going strong. Give us a call at 204-476-5648 for more information on either of these activities.

Story-time will begin once again on Friday, Jan. 22 at 11:00 am for pre-school aged children and their caregivers. We have lots of books to read and lots of crafts to make. Bring the little ones out for some book fun!

Travel to warmer climates is definitely on many people’s minds this January, and there’s nothing like a good book to pass the time while relaxing on the beach, but who wants to carry half a dozen books in your luggage?  Here’s an idea - download eBooks on your tablet or other device for easy transport. Access to a wireless connection and your library card is all that’s needed to connect to eLibraries Ë®¹ûÊÓƵ or Hoopla – no matter where you are!

And even if you aren’t planning to travel this winter, remember to check into the many resources available to library patrons at the click of a mouse or the tap of an app. Simply go to the library’s webpage at www.wmrl.ca to access links digital resources that can be accessed anywhere by using your library card.
