Approximately 150 patrons of the Beautiful Plains Credit Union attended a complementary roast beef dinner at the Neepawa Legion on April 13. Also on the menu was a favourable annual report. BPCU manager Gord Sylvester and board chair Keith Jury moved the proceedings along smoothly.

The BPCU had income of $3,286,374 and a net income of $510,603. There was a patronage refund of $200,000.

After 27 years on the BPCU board, Marg Loucks has retired. She was honoured at the AGM by way of a donation to Siloam Mission, one of her favourite charitable organizations.

Janelle Henton was elected to the board of directors for the Glenella region. Bob Durston and Darryn Cameron ran for the Neepawa region opening and Cameron was elected.
