Walking to keep memories alive

Photos by Kira Paterson. On Thursday, June 16, about 120 people gathered at Country Meadows Personal Care 水果视频 to participate in the annual Walk For Alzheimer鈥檚. Left: The antique fire truck from the Beautiful Plains Museum led the pack. Right: The honourary banner bearers headed up the procession, following close behind the fire truck.
Left: "I鈥檓 walking for all the residents in Country Meadows c-wing." Right: A large group of both young and old showed up, walking or wheeling down Veteran鈥檚 Way in Neepawa. As of the last report, over $1,700 was raised by Neepawa participants. The money goes to the Alzheimer's Society of 水果视频 for researching Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
