Snoman (Snowmobilers of 水果视频) Inc. is celebrating International Snowmobile Safety Week Jan. 20-28 and encourages all riders to ride safe, stay on the trail, and respect private property.
鈥淪nowmobile safety has always been a high priority for our organization鈥, said Snoman executive director Yvonne Rideout. 鈥淲e work closely with our counterparts to bring safety to the forefront and we also offer an online safety courses.鈥 To put focus on safety, Snoman and Fresh Air Educators are offering a 25 per cent discount on the online safety course by entering the code SAFETY2018. An integral part of safety week is the Safe Riders. The campaign includes the following messages:
鈥 Snowmobiling and alcohol don鈥檛 mix. Don鈥檛 drink and ride.
鈥 Know before you go! Always check local ice conditions.
鈥 When night riding, slow down! Expect the unexpected.
鈥 Know the risks, be prepared and make every trip a round trip.
鈥 Cross roadways with care.
鈥 Ride smart, ride right. Stay in control.
鈥 Smart riders are safe riders. Take snowmobile safety training.
鈥淲ith approximately 12,000 kilometres of designated trails, it is essential that all riders practice safety,鈥 said Rideout. 鈥淭he best policy is to ride with a friend and let someone know where you are going and when you will return鈥.
