New ideas on economic development were plentiful at the Economic Developers Association of 水果视频 (EDAM) spring forum.
The event was co-hosted by Neepawa and Minnedosa from May 11-13 and featured 75 representatives from 52 different municipalities and organizations from across 水果视频. Those numbers made it one of the most well attended EDAM events in the past decade.

The 13th Annual Tribute to Tourism Awards & Gala will be held this year at 6.00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at Carberry Community Hall.

Starting next week, people in town will be able to get their caffeine kick while supporting a good cause. From May 23 to June 1, Tim Horton鈥檚 will be celebrating their annual Camp Week. During this time, the restaurant will be selling bracelets, with proceeds going to the Tim Horton Children鈥檚 Foundation鈥檚 camp programs.

Local sisters play fairy godmother

Two sisters from Neepawa made an effort to send some glamour to graduating girls in Fort McMurray who lost theirs in the recent fire. Eighteen-year-old Shaelyn and 21-year-old Jade Leflar reached out to girls who have graduated from NACI in the past few years to see if they would be interested in donating their grad dresses to send to Alberta.
