Infrastructure project will likely cost less than expected

A Winkler based company has won the bidding war for a massive infrastructure upgrade in Neepawa. Dig-All Construction was selected for the nearly $1.1 million project, which involves installing a new trunk sewer to address high volumes of effluent being generated by the town.

When Strathclair Drama Club (SDC) staged The Sound of Music in 1983, it鈥檚 unlikely that anyone involved could have envisioned that in 2016, more than 150 people from across Westman would be working together to stage the group鈥檚 34th annual production, Once Upon a Mattress. With no signs of slowing down, this little theatre group with lots of heart has built up a reputation for presenting high quality musical theatre productions that showcase the talents of the cast and crew alike.

It鈥檚 time to take fresh pictures of the 水果视频 prairie crocus.   

More than $500 in prize money is available for winners in the 2016 Crocus Photo Contest at Arden, MB. Entries close at midnight Saturday, April 30. Photos will be printed, judged and displayed a week later at Arden鈥檚 Crocus Festival on Saturday, May 7.
