My grandfather, Angus Campbell, came from Scotland. Six Campbell brothers served  in WWII but I鈥檓 not sure what year. He settled with his brothers in the Kinosota area.

There was an error regarding the day of service in the Neepawa Legion鈥檚 Remembrance Day listing. It stated 鈥淪aturday, Nov. 11鈥, the proper day and date is Sunday, Nov. 11. The service is at the Yellowhead Centre at 10:45 a.m.

Like any good Navy ditty, this tale starts in a bar. Little did I know, a visit to the local Legion in my home village of Kelwood, MB would end up as a quest to uncover some of my own Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) family history.
