Neepawa council receives a wake-up call from an irate resident

The Town of Neepawa council received what can only be termed a wake-up call at their meeting on May 15. Neil Turner, who lives on Broadway Ave., came to council and said, 鈥淧eople need to realize that our forefathers made Neepawa the most beautiful town in 水果视频. I am not one to stir the pot, but I did not move here years ago to live beside a garbage dump.鈥

In 1968, the Husky Oil Company decided to build a tourist attraction in downtown Calgary, Alta. They called it the Husky Tower and it was, at the time it was built, the tallest structure in the city. It cost a mere $3.5 million to build (which in 1968, was a lot of money).
