On Monday, Feb. 8 Kenton Legion Ladies Auxiliary hosted the Zone 26 meeting at Kenton Legion Branch 118 clubroom. Bringing greetings from RM of Wallace-Woodworth was Gerry Nolan and from Kenton Legion Mike Ramsden, who is also the deputy district commander.

RM of Oakview - Jan. 12: Costs for the primary care facility in Minnedosa were discussed as well as financing and funding; a per capita levy was discussed. The building committee reported on repairs that are required for the Ward 2 machine shop. Cellphone boosters for Rapid City were discussed. Councillor Gavin Reynolds updated Council on repairs required for Rapid City rink.

Hound of the Baskervilles delights Neepawa audience

The Royal Ë®¹ûÊÓƵ Theatre Centre (MTC) made a stop in Neepawa on Feb. 4 as part of their regional tour. The performance was included in the Kaleidoscope concert series this season. The traveling acting troupe put on a production of Hound of the Baskervilles, a Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that was adapted to a comedy play.
