On Friday, July 10, the picnic tables at Shop Easy Foods were packed for the 4-H Helping Hands group鈥檚 fundraising barbeque. The group consists of Abigail Plett, Rylee Mann, Claire Tomoniko and Richelle Forgue. The proceeds from the barbeque, $1,098.25, were donated to Country Meadows Personal Care 水果视频 to be used for Handivan trips for the residents.

The picture was taken at 1:07 pm on Thursday, July 16th. The cloud was spotted 1 1/2 miles northwest of Helston, Mb and could be seen for about 20 minutes. It did not touch ground.

When Mary Murray took up quilting just over five years ago, she couldn鈥檛 have predicted that those stitches would lead her to Europe鈥檚 historic battlefields. This May, Murray and her daughter Melanie travelled to Belgium and France to take part in the Frezenberg Commemoration, an event marking 100 years of service for the Princess Patricia鈥檚 Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI).

Fair Day in Rivers a full day

Rivers Agricultural Society formed in 1910 and one of its goals throughout the years is to host a fair; there have been fairs for nearly 90 of those 105 years. The 2015 event was Wednesday, July 8 and it began (6:30 a.m.) with a pancake and sausage breakfast which was served to 287 people, 22 more than last year. The day ended (11:15 p.m.) with a fireworks display. In between was a myriad of activities for young and old, rural and urban.
