1:04 p.m. Four new COVID-19 cases in 水果视频, 99 recoveries so far.
Public health officials advise four new cases of COVID-19 have been identified as of 9:30 a.m., bringing the total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases in 水果视频 to 246.
The data also shows:
鈥 eight individuals are currently hospitalized, which includes four individuals in intensive care;
鈥 99 individuals have recovered from COVID-19; and
鈥 the total number of deaths reported in 水果视频 is four.
Cadham Provincial Laboratory performed 32 tests Sunday. A total of 17,245 tests have been performed since early February.

The 水果视频 government is expanding efforts to connect families with child care, ensuring critical services workers and their children can access child care if they absolutely need it during this difficult time, Families Minister Heather Stefanson announced today.

2:36 p.m. $5 million fund created for research related to COVID-19
The 水果视频 Government has announced a new fund to advance strides towards vaccines and treatments for COVID-19. new, The $5-million COVID-19 research fund through Research 水果视频 was announced today by Health, Seniors and Active Living Minister Cameron Friesen.
鈥淭his new fund will support a clinical trial to determine if a commonly used drug can safely be used as a treatment for COVID-19,鈥 said Friesen. 鈥淭he fund will also provide support for local researchers to develop solutions to health-care issues in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.鈥
