I grabbed a big black garbage bag and headed down the drive. It appears that my home is the exact right distance from town. People toss junk. I would love to blame it on passing cars, but cars don鈥檛 do things like that. It was a person that flung the pop cans, glass bottle, an insulated liner from a man鈥檚 winter boot, and (I do wear gloves!) a four litre plastic half full of urine. No, I did not do a sniff test. Bet my assumption is correct though. Papers and plastics and lines of twine, I get that. But hard core garbage, really?

Next week, special events and activities will take place to mark the fourth annual Let No One Be Alone week. Started in 2011 by Brenda Tonn, the resource coordinator for Plumas Senior Support Services, the province-wide initiative aims to help those who live alone or who are isolated.

The federal government has introduced a balanced budget, it鈥檚 about time. The province of 水果视频 is introducing a deficit budget. Again! Shame on them.

There鈥檚 something very comfortable in 鈥渢he way it鈥檚 always been done鈥� isn鈥檛 there? Being born and raised in a prairie town, we come to know that Joe always looks after this, that鈥檚 Bob鈥檚 project over there and there鈥檚 a number of standing committees and clubs that each hold ownership of their own specific projects, all in the greater good of the community.
