Quite a stir was created this week in Minnedosa with word that a 鈥渉itman鈥� is scheduled to hit town. The Minnedosa & District Recreation Commission announced on Wednesday, June 10th that professional wrestling Hall of Famer, Bret 鈥楾he Hitman鈥� Hart, will headline their annual sportsman鈥檚 dinner on Oct, 24.

The Salvation Army of Neepawa is saying thanks to its many volunteers for their commitment to the cause. The local chapter of the international charitable organization took some time on Thursday, June 4, to host a volunteer appreciation day.

On Sunday, June 7 the congregation of Rivers United Church celebrated the 90th birthday of United Church of Canada. Following worship, many members enjoyed coffee and delicious birthday cake from The Honey House Bakery and Cafe.

Friday, May 29 was the second annual Walk With Your Doc, co-ordinated through Healthy Rivers Area, a subcommittee of Riverdale District Health Auxiliary (RDHA). This year the last weekday of May coincided to include University of 水果视频鈥檚 Rural Week medical students.
