In what turned out to be a house warming bonus, Elaine and Gerald Leforte claimed the early bird prize in the 2018 Beautiful Plains Medical Clinic Lottery. Lefortes are from Swan River but their $10,000 prize will come in nicely as they have moved to a house in Souris. The Lottery is still on going and the final deadline to buy tickets is June 2 at 9:00 p.m.
