Bad governance is simply the application of wrong information to decision making and decision implementation. No better recent example of bad governance has been displayed than by Hockey Canada. The news has been filled for months with how HC paid out millions in damages to an alleged sexual assualt victim, a young woman. I say alleged, not because I don鈥檛 believe the woman, but because charges were never laid by police, as far as I know and therefore not proven in court. I have great respect for her. Most years, we would listen to the Queen鈥檚 message and for the past several years, I have thought inwardly, or voiced the thought to my wife Christine that this might be her last message. Turns out, Christmas 2021 was her last and I am saddened by that.
