Right in the centre - Little mistakes and big ones too

Needless to say, I read a lot of newspapers in hard copy and online. I also take in some news on CBC-TV, CNN stations and online.

Credibility in news reporting is not increasing and it鈥檚 partly due to reporters being in too big a hurry to meet deadlines and partly because many in the news business are just plain sloppy. (And maybe lazy!).

Right in the centre - Keep them poor and uninformed

Last week I wrote about the danger of the elites and allowing an elite group of people run organizations. The organization in question last week was the Progressive Conservative Party of 水果视频. I outlined how, over a few decades, a once vibrant, grassroots party let its organization and leadership to become, at best, mediocre. I got some definite feedback on that subject.

Another thought came to me today and that is, 鈥淲hy do governments like keeping people poor and uninformed?鈥
