Neepawa approves new cemetery sidewalk

Town Council has approved the installation of a new sidewalk at the Neepawa Cemetery. The Town received two formal bids on this project, which will feature an intricate design that wraps around the site鈥檚 new columbarium. J.C. Lavish Construction had the low bid at $25,000. That bid amount was approved and a timeline for the work to begin is currently being explored

Summer at the food bank

Summer is almost here! Which means everyone鈥檚 normal routine gets traded in for vacations, camps, late night bonfires, visiting family and friends. It is such a wonderful time of year to enjoy the outdoors and our many hours of sunlight. One of the effects of all of us getting out of routine includes the donations to the food bank tend to dwindle for the summer. Unfortunately the use of the food bank does not correlate to this reduction in donations.

Dauphin RCMP investigate missing person

Dauphin RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating Lorne Robinson, 69 years old, who was reported missing on June 12, 2016 from Dauphin, MB.

Area residents give back

Last weekend, teams of Neepawa-area residents showed their support by fundraising and taking part in two charity events.

On June 5, Team Josie Pedersen took part in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, held in Brandon. All the money raised stays in 水果视频 to aid research for Type 1 diabetes.
