On Nov. 29 and 30 Rivers Curling Club hosted the Golden Gals district playdowns. These ladies must be over 60 years of age, with the exception that the lead must be over 55. This was done because of the shortage of women over 60 who still curl.
Winning our district was Lynda Draper of Virden and Linda Wilson of Hamiota. These teams will represent this district at the Golden Gals provincials, which are also being held in Rivers! Golden Gals provincial curling will run March 9-12 and there will be 16 rinks coming from all parts of 水果视频. Plan to come out and cheer them on!
